Job Description

As a Structural Engineer at our Johannesburg office, you will focus on the structural integrity of diverse projects. You will work on calculations, design specifications, and come up with innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze structural systems for various projects.
  • Prepare detailed drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections during construction phases.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers.
  • Perform calculations to ensure compliance with safety and building codes.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for materials and techniques.
  • Review project plans and contribute to project development discussions.
  • Ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree is an advantage.
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in structural engineering
