Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Cape Town. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing quality healthcare services, diagnosing illnesses, and developing treatment plans tailored to our patients' needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, a solid understanding of healthcare practices, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Advocate for patients and coordinate care with specialists.
• Stay updated with current medical practices and protocols.
• Facilitate patient referrals and follow up on care progression.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Master’s degree in Nursing is highly regarded

Experience

• At least 3 years in a clinical setting with Nurse Practitioner experience

Technical Skills

• Diagnosis and Treatment Planning
• Emergency Care

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Leadership

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate in both English and Afrikaans.
• Leadership experience in healthcare: Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
