Shoe Machine Operators and Tenders

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Shoe Machine Operator who is responsible for operating and maintaining vulcanizing machinery used in rubber material curing. The ideal candidate should ensure machinery runs efficiently and adheres to safety standards while producing high-quality footwear.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor vulcanizing machines to ensure proper curing of rubber materials.
• Inspect and prepare molds, press plates, and other equipment prior to vulcanization.
• Load rubber materials onto the machine and set controls for required temperatures and pressures.
• Regularly measure and mix rubber compounds according to specifications.
• Remove finished products and perform post-production quality inspections.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the working area and equipment.
• Attend training sessions to remain updated on best practices and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding production issues and improvements.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a secure workplace.
• Assist in compiling reports on machinery performance and production output.
