Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Pet Groomer to join our vibrant team in Durban. In this role, you’ll be responsible for grooming pets to ensure they look and feel their best. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every pet receives the best care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consultations with pet owners to determine grooming needs.
• Identify any signs of health issues during grooming.
• Document grooming services performed and any special requirements.
• Promote grooming packages and pet care products to clients.
• Work efficiently to meet scheduled grooming appointments.
• Provide a calming environment for pets during the grooming process.
• Maintain knowledge of pet grooming trends and techniques.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Advanced pet grooming certification is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in professional pet grooming

Technical Skills

• Dog Breed Grooming
• Client Consultation

Advantageous

• First Aid Certification for Pets: Certification in basic first aid for pets is a plus.
• Experience in retail pet services: Previous experience in pet retail or grooming salons.
