Mercury Cell Cleaner

Job Description

The Mercury Cell Cleaner will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining mercury cells used in production processes. This role requires a strong understanding of the chemical industry, along with a commitment to safety and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Remove and replace mercury cells as needed.
• Clean mercury cells and associated equipment.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks on cleaning equipment.
• Adhere to safety and environmental regulations.
• Assist in record-keeping and compliance documentation.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss safety and operational improvements.
• Provide feedback on equipment performance and suggest improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in chemical handling is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the chemical manufacturing sector.
