Job Description

As a Public Health Officer, you will work on vital health projects aimed at improving the wellbeing of our community. Your responsibilities will include evaluating health programs, facilitating workshops, and liaising with community stakeholders to advocate for health equity and access to services.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute community health assessments and surveys.
  • Identify and address public health concerns through data-driven approaches.
  • Foster partnerships with schools, businesses, and community organizations.
  • Assist in the development of health-related educational materials.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and suggest improvements.
  • Attend community meetings to represent public health interests.
  • Oversee health initiatives targeting specific populations.
  • Participate in emergency preparedness and response planning.
  • Collaborate with researchers to disseminate health information.
  • Monitor compliance with public health regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
  • Master's degree is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in public health or related fields
