We are seeking a skilled Environmental Engineer to support our projects in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and a passion for sustainable practices. You will be responsible for conducting environmental assessments, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough environmental assessments and audits.
• Design and enforce environmental policies and practices.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure project compliance.
• Compile reports on environmental performance.
• Provide expert advice on environmental legislation.
• Participate in developing sustainability programs.
• Review and analyze site plans for environmental impact.
• Liaise with government bodies regarding environmental issues.
• Facilitate community engagement regarding environmental projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related discipline
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years in environmental engineering roles
