Job Description

As a Health Education Specialist, you will provide crucial support to new mothers in breastfeeding and lactation techniques. You will work one-on-one to educate and empower families to enhance maternal and infant health.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and guidance on lactation issues to new mothers.
  • Facilitate educational workshops on breastfeeding for mothers and families.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of breastfeeding techniques and intervention strategies.
  • Advise mothers on nutritional guidelines related to breastfeeding.
  • Act as a resource for healthcare providers on breastfeeding best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)
Experience
  • Experience working with new mothers and in a healthcare setting.
