Job Description

As a Public Works Director, you will oversee the strategic planning, execution, and maintenance of public infrastructures such as roads, bridges, and facilities. You will manage a team of skilled professionals, ensuring compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations while liaising with government bodies and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Establish long-term goals for public works initiatives and align team objectives.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers.
• Conduct risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies for complex projects.
• Maintain effective communication among all project stakeholders.
• Evaluate and enhance project management processes and tools.
• Actively seek new funding opportunities for public works projects.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred

Experience

• Strong background with at least 10 years of public works project management experience.
