Body Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Body Worker to join our dedicated team at the Wellness Center in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic massages and other bodywork services to our clients, aimed at enhancing their physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized bodywork services to improve client well-being.
• Assess client needs through consultation and adjust techniques accordingly.
• Document client progress and treatment effects accurately.
• Promote additional services and products that support wellness.
• Attend relevant workshops and training for professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant diploma in Massage Therapy or equivalent qualification

Experience

• Experience in a spa or wellness center setting is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Massage Oils Proficiency
• Client Management

Soft Skills

• Strong Attention to Detail
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Additional certification in related fields (e.g. aromatherapy, reflexology)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Additional certification or training in related fields: Skills in other therapeutic practices such as aromatherapy or reflexology are a plus.
• Experience working with athletes or sports teams: Knowledge in sports therapy may improve client results.
