Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve dispensing medications, counseling patients, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective communication with patients regarding their medications.
  • Perform clinical assessments and ensure proper medication management.
  • Lead health education initiatives and workshops at the pharmacy.
  • Assist in resolving any patient complaints or issues.
  • Collaborate with the pharmaceutical team to enhance service delivery.
  • Adhere to all relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Contribute to quality assurance in pharmacy practices.
  • Participate in community outreach and health promotion activities.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D.
  • Registered Pharmacist with South African Pharmacy Council.
Experience
  • Experience in retail pharmacy is preferred.
