Job Description

We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting. You will be responsible for providing insights into financial data that will aid in strategic decision-making and performance improvement. You’ll collaborate with various departments to gather relevant data and present findings to executive management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial presentations and reports for management meetings.
• Conduct variance analyses to track projected versus actual results.
• Research fiscal policies and recommend changes for improvement.
• Assist in developing KPI metrics for financial performance.
• Actively participate in cross-functional teams for financial planning.
• Prepare documentation for regulatory compliance and audits.
• Ensure accuracy in accounting practices and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Master's degree in Finance is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a financial capacity
