Job Description

We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting. You will be responsible for providing insights into financial data that will aid in strategic decision-making and performance improvement. You’ll collaborate with various departments to gather relevant data and present findings to executive management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports to track performance and budget variances.
• Develop financial models for forecasting expenses and potential revenue.
• Conduct market research to inform financial strategies.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with department managers to understand financial requirements and reporting needs.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial plans.
• Support audits by providing necessary information and documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Master's degree in Finance is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a financial capacity
