Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Structural Engineer to join our talented team in Stellenbosch. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing structures, ensuring they are safe, sustainable, and compliant with local codes. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and government officials to develop effective engineering solutions for a variety of projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project timelines and manage structural engineering tasks.
  • Perform risk assessments and identify potential issues related to structural designs.
  • Engage in value engineering to optimize project costs.
  • Coordinate with municipal departments for approval on plans and permits.
  • Document engineering decisions and maintain accurate project records.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent
  • Relevant certifications preferred
Experience
  • At least 5 years of structural engineering experience with a proven track record.
