Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Plush Finisher to join our dedicated team in Cape Town. As a Plush Finisher, your role will involve ensuring that our plush toys are produced to the highest quality standards, meeting both our design specifications and production deadlines. Your attention to detail will be critical in enhancing our product quality and our reputation in the market.

Responsibilities

• Ensure plush toys are finished to a high standard, meeting quality and design specifications.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products and communicate any issues.
• Remove any excess material or threads from plush toys.
• Securely attach features such as eyes and noses as per design requirements.
• Paint and finalize plush toys, putting attention into every detail.
• Keep the work area tidy and follow safety regulations.
• Meet and exceed production metrics.
• Work closely with the team to optimise the production process.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety standards.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational training is advantageous

Experience

• Prior experience with plush toy finishing is a plus

Technical Skills

• Sewing skills
• Textile tools knowledge

Languages

• English: Fluent
