Environmental Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Engineer to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and implementing environmentally sustainable solutions to various projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, conducting environmental assessments, and designing systems to mitigate environmental impact.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate project designs for their environmental impact and sustainability.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams in environmental projects.
• Propose and assess innovative solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
• Keep abreast of environmental regulations and trends.
• Facilitate public consultations and workshops concerning environmental issues.
• Collaborate with local communities on environmental initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in related engineering roles
