DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Cape Town team. The successful candidate will work on automating processes, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring a seamless CI/CD pipeline. You’ll play a key role in enhancing our software delivery and operational capabilities, collaborating with development and IT operations teams to improve system reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines for new deployments.
• Administer cloud infrastructure and ensure uptime of applications.
• Work closely with software engineers to resolve production issues.
• Automate deployment pipelines and manage infrastructure as code.
• Identify performance issues and implement solutions.
• Conduct security assessments to mitigate risks.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Experience

• 3+ years in DevOps roles or similar

Technical Skills

• Ansible

Certifications

• Google Professional DevOps Engineer
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator

Languages

• English: Fluent
