Job Description

As an Actuary, you will play a crucial role in risk assessment and financial decision-making. Your responsibilities will include evaluating data trends, conducting financial assessments, and developing tailored solutions to reduce risk and enhance profitability for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Utilize statistical software to conduct complex analysis and modeling.
• Research and keep abreast of industry regulations and trends.
• Identify areas for improvement and develop initiatives to enhance service delivery.
• Provide mentorship to junior actuarial staff members to foster growth within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Statistics
• Master's degree in Actuarial Science preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in risk assessment and financial analysis

Certifications

• Qualified Actuary designation
• Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (FASSA)
