Responsibilities

• Lead the design and fabrication of costumes for a variety of performances and events.
• Research historical and cultural dress to enhance authenticity in costumes.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to brainstorm innovative costume ideas.
• Manage timelines and deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Conduct fittings and alterations, ensuring costume functionality for performers.
• Supervise the costume team during performances, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
• Assist in organizing wardrobe maintenance and storage logistics.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Fine Arts, or Textile Studies
• Additional certifications in Costume Design preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of costume design experience in production settings
