Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our Bloemfontein team. The candidate will be responsible for managing, designing, and implementing cloud solutions and infrastructure in a dynamic DevOps environment, enhancing our operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Drive cloud migration projects from on-premises to cloud environments.
• Implement containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-related issues as they arise.
• Lead cloud architecture reviews and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Develop and maintain cloud governance policies.
• Work closely with network engineers to ensure seamless integration with cloud services.
• Conduct training sessions on cloud technologies for internal teams.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud tools and technologies.
• Prepare cloud usage reports and present insights to management.
• Participate in budgeting for cloud expenditures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or similar

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud technologies
