Fixed Capital Clerk

Job Description

We are looking for a Fixed Capital Clerk to manage and maintain records related to fixed assets within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate recording, tracking, and reconciliation of fixed asset transactions, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure thorough documentation of all fixed asset transactions.
• Coordinate with the purchasing department for asset acquisitions.
• Develop asset management policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders about fixed asset performance.
• Monitor asset lifecycles and prepare relevant reports.
• Enhance fixed asset management software tools and methodologies.
• Assist in the onboarding of new finance team members.
• Keep detailed logs of all capital investments and expenditures.
• Evaluate potential improvements in asset tracking systems.
• Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines for reporting and audits.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• Professional qualification such as ACCA or CIMA is preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in fixed asset management or a related financial role
