Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting our systems and data from cyber threats, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing security measures. You will work closely with various teams to develop and enforce security policies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security systems for the organization.
• Continuously monitor and assess the organization's IT networks.
• Research and recommend new security technologies.
• Provide technical support for security-related issues.
• Engage in threat analysis and management.
• Review and update security policies as needed.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies and external auditors.
• Conduct training sessions on compliance and risk management.
• Develop a culture of security awareness within the organization.
• Support incident response and disaster recovery efforts.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of cybersecurity experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
