We are seeking a passionate Environmental Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in environmental assessments, project management, and sustainability initiatives. You will work with various stakeholders to implement projects that positively impact our environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental monitoring and assessment initiatives.
• Manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and interns.
• Collaborate with contractors to ensure environmental compliance on site.
• Develop and implement environmental management systems.
• Assess risks associated with environmental activities.
• Provide technical support and advice to project teams.
• Foster partnerships with NGOs and community organizations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental management
