Job Description

We are seeking an industrious Industrial Engineer to enhance our manufacturing processes in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to improve efficiency and productivity within our operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to streamline operations and reduce production costs.
• Analyze manufacturing data to inform process enhancements.
• Consult with engineering teams to align on best practices.
• Develop guidelines and procedures for new equipment and systems.
• Facilitate workshops for brainstorming and problem-solving.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
• Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans.
• Assist in forecasting production schedules and resources.
• Participate in benchmarking and peer reviews to drive best practices.
• Assist with the training and onboarding of new team members.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
• Additional certifications in quality management is beneficial

Experience

• 5+ years of increasing responsibility in industrial engineering
