Job Description

As a Conservation Scientist, you will conduct field research to monitor and evaluate terrestrial ecosystems. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop conservation strategies and provide insights into biodiversity management.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement biodiversity management plans.
  • Engage with government agencies and NGOs on conservation initiatives.
  • Contribute to grant writing and funding proposals.
  • Conduct ecological assessments and surveys.
  • Develop conservation education programs for communities.
  • Utilize GIS software to analyse and present data.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of conservation strategies.
  • Collaborate on inter-disciplinary projects.
  • Manage and coordinate research projects.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or related discipline
  • Master's degree is a plus

  • 3-5 years of experience in conservation science or similar roles
