We are in search of a Blockchain Compliance Specialist to join our team in Cape Town. This role involves navigating regulatory landscapes and ensuring compliance with financial laws. A successful candidate will exhibit strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of blockchain technology and its regulatory implications.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance audits and readiness assessments pertaining to blockchain activities.
• Ensure proper documentation of compliance processes and risk assessments.
• Provide regular updates to the management team on compliance issues and challenges.
• Facilitate training sessions on regulatory updates and compliance best practices.
• Support the development of a culture of compliance throughout the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Master's degree in Compliance or Risk Management is favourable

Experience

• 5+ years of compliance experience, specifically in the blockchain or fintech industry

Technical Skills

• Financial regulations
• Data analysis

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
