Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Game Farm Supervisor to oversee the operations of our game farm in South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities on the farm, ensuring the wellbeing of the animals, and maintaining a safe and sustainable environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead farm staff in daily operations and ensure the smooth running of activities.
  • Regularly assess animal health and behaviour, ensuring welfare standards are met.
  • Formulate and execute effective game management strategies.
  • Stay informed about compliance requirements and implement necessary changes.
  • Prepare budgets and oversee financial management for all farm-related expenses.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure all facilities are up to standard.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops for team members.
  • Document all relevant operational data and maintain comprehensive reports.
  • Cultivate positive partnerships with suppliers and community stakeholders.
  • Take action to guarantee the safety of all individuals on the premises.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Further education in wildlife conservation or agriculture preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role within a game farm environment.
