We are searching for a dedicated Chemical Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and optimization of chemical processes, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement process improvements to increase yield and reduce waste.
• Conduct thorough feasibility studies for new projects.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain necessary materials and equipment.
• Analyze production data and provide insights for process enhancements.
• Participate in safety audits and ensure compliance with health standards.
• Develop training materials for team members on new processes and technologies.
• Assist in budget preparation and resource allocation.
• Provide technical support and expertise to other departments as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the chemical industry

• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification
