Strainer Tender

Job Description

The Strainer Tender will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the production of strainers. You will work closely with the production team and quality control to ensure that all strainers meet the required standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control the operation of straining machines.
• Inspect and test various strainers for defects.
• Execute routine maintenance on production equipment.
• Document production data and quality control results.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
• Collaborate with engineering to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Adhere to occupational health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Trade certificate in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment

Technical Skills

• Machinery operation
• Quality control inspection
• Health and safety procedures

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Teamwork
• Communication skills

Advantageous

• Technical diploma in Manufacturing or Engineering: Further qualification that enhances understanding of manufacturing processes.
