We are seeking a skilled Pet Groomer to join our passionate team at Pet Synergy in Pretoria. You will be responsible for grooming pets to enhance their appearance and maintain their hygiene. Candidates should have a love for animals and be familiar with various grooming techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services for a range of breeds, maintaining breed standards.
• Maintain client records and follow up on future appointments.
• Keep up-to-date with grooming trends and techniques.
• Engage with clients to build long-term relationships.
• Ensure tools and equipment are sanitized and well-maintained.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Formal training in pet grooming is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a grooming role

Technical Skills

• Dog and Cat Grooming
• Grooming Equipment Maintenance

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Patience

Certifications

• Certified Pet Groomer
• Pet CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Background in animal training or behavior: Experience in training pets can be beneficial.
