Job Description

We are seeking an Environmental Consultant to support our sustainability initiatives in Durban. The ideal candidate will have experience in environmental assessments, compliance, and project management, with a strong commitment to ecological preservation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee environmental impact assessments from inception to completion.
• Ensure all projects align with sustainability goals and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members on project proposals and initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops to promote environmental best practices.
• Conduct environmental audits and compliance checks.
• Advise clients on environmental duties and responsibilities.
• Research new environmental technologies and practices.
• Assist in grant writing and securing project funding.
• Represent the company at environmental conferences and workshops.
• Contribute to the development of company-wide sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Environmental Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental analysis and consulting
