Environmental Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an Environmental Engineer who is committed to sustainability and innovation. In this role, you will evaluate projects for compliance with environmental standards and help to develop solutions that mitigate negative impacts on the environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and identify potential environmental risks associated with engineering projects.
• Create detailed reports outlining strategies for mitigating negative environmental impacts.
• Guide project managers on how to achieve environmental compliance.
• Participate in public meetings to present findings and engage with community stakeholders.
• Promote awareness of green technologies and sustainable engineering practices within the organization.
• Conduct training sessions focused on sustainable practices for staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate environmental considerations into project designs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications in Environmental Studies are advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in environmental projects
