Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Health Informatics Manager to oversee the implementation and management of healthcare data systems in our Johannesburg office. The ideal candidate will be skilled in data analysis, information management, and the integration of healthcare technologies. You will play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation initiatives that enhance patient care and optimize healthcare workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and implement new informatics technologies and tools.
  • Provide support for existing health information systems and troubleshoot issues.
  • Generate reports on informatics performance and outcomes for stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between external vendors and internal teams for system enhancements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in healthcare informatics.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics or related field
  • Relevant Master's degree or certification is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a healthcare informatics role, preferably in a managerial capacity
