UX Designer

Job Description

We are searching for a creative UX Designer to join our collaborative team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and a passion for creating intuitive interfaces. You will be responsible for conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and collaborating with developers to bring your designs to life.

Responsibilities

• Participate in user interviews and gather valuable feedback.
• Design intuitive user experiences for various digital platforms.
• Prototype designs using tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
• Work alongside product managers and developers to deliver user-focused solutions.
• Enhance user engagement through innovative design ideas.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in UX design.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design or related field
• Master's degree in UX design is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of relevant experience in user experience or interface design

• User Testing

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of HTML/CSS basics: Basic understanding of front-end technologies to communicate with developers effectively.
