Job Description

We are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will work on a variety of infrastructure projects, from design to implementation, ensuring that all works meet quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Draft engineering designs and models for infrastructure projects.
• Review and approve contractor’s work and payments.
• Liaise with municipal authorities regarding project approvals.
• Provide engineering support during the construction phase.
• Implement innovative engineering solutions to improve efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure projects

Technical Skills

• Surveying Techniques
• Geotechnical Engineering Principles

Soft Skills

• Negotiation Skills
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Civil Engineering Technician Certification
• Environmental Impact Assessment Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

• Experience with Infrastructure Asset Management: Proficient in managing and maintaining civil infrastructure.
