Lineman

Job Description

The Lineman will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electrical power lines and telecommunications cables. We seek an experienced individual who can adapt to various weather conditions and physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of electrical infrastructure to detect faults or potential issues.
• Work closely with other Linemen, Electricians, and Cable Jointers to perform tasks efficiently.
• Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Adhere to all safety standards and regulations during all operational tasks.

Requirements

Education

• National Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field

Experience

• Experience in the installation and maintenance of overhead power lines preferred.

Technical Skills

• Experience with Fiber Optics
• Heavy machinery operation

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Project Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• First Aid training: Certification in First Aid and CPR is beneficial.
