We are on the lookout for a Cyber Security Consultant to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating security measures, developing strategies, and implementing solutions to safeguard our clients' data. In this role, you will assess risks and vulnerabilities, provide recommendations, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead security audits and prepare comprehensive analysis reports.
• Collaborate with management to align security policies with business goals.
• Provide guidance on secure software development practices.
• Oversee third-party security assessments and compliance checks.
• Develop threat intelligence programs to proactively address vulnerabilities.
• Stay informed on the latest news and updates in the cybersecurity sector.
• Support clients in achieving and maintaining industry certifications.
• Assist in penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or information security
