Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and evaluations.
• Administer treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to patient care strategies.
• Educate patients about post-treatment care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance care delivery.
• Ensure adherence to nursing best practices and standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Specialization in critical care or related fields is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of nursing experience, preferably in ICU or similar environments

Technical Skills

• Patient Assessment

Certifications

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Advanced certifications in nursing: Such as Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS).
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
