We are seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Support Technician to join our Port Elizabeth team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for internal employees needing IT assistance and troubleshooting. Your role is integral to maintaining our IT systems, ensuring operational continuity. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in computer networks and hardware, along with excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support for software and hardware applications.
• Aid in developing training materials for end-user education.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Assist with network and server maintenance as required.
• Support the implementation of IT policies and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant IT certifications preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years in a similar support role.

• Hardware Support

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with VoIP systems: Knowledge of managing and troubleshooting Voice over Internet Protocol systems.
• Familiarity with remote desktop tools: Experience with tools like TeamViewer, AnyDesk, or similar.
