Vault Attendant

Job Description

The Vault Attendant is responsible for ensuring the security and proper management of a company's vault and its contents. You will maintain strict access control, conduct inventory checks, and coordinate with other departments to fulfill customer requests.

Responsibilities

• Manage vault security, ensuring all items are accounted for.
• Conduct inventory audits and reporting discrepancies immediately.
• Respond to incidents or alarms and carry out emergency protocols.
• Facilitate communication between departments to optimize vault function.
• Train and mentor new employees on security protocols and procedures.
• Prepare reports on vault activity for management review.
• Assist customers in accessing their stored items in compliance with security protocols.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certifications in security management are an advantage

Experience

• Experience in a financial institution or banking environment is a plus.
