Job Description

We are looking for an experienced General IT Administrator to join our team in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring systems run efficiently and securely.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize IT resources, ensuring high availability.
• Monitor IT security and respond to security incidents.
• Assist in project management for IT initiatives.
• Coordinate system upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime.
• Provide training for new users on software and systems.
• Record and track IT inventory and equipment.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss IT goals and needs.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Assist with network configuration and troubleshooting.
• Document IT infrastructure changes and updates.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Relevant IT certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience working in IT support roles
