Job Description

We are looking for an experienced General IT Administrator to join our team in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring systems run efficiently and securely.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks and hardware.
• Provide technical assistance and support to users within the organization.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Back up data and recover lost data as needed.
• Implement and enforce IT security policies to protect sensitive information.
• Keep software and hardware updated to the latest standards.
• Assist in the deployment of new applications and technologies.
• Collaborate with team members to support various IT projects.
• Prepare documentation for IT procedures and guidelines.
• Train employees on new software and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Relevant IT certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience working in IT support roles

Certifications
