The Shuttle Final Inspector is tasked with ensuring that all assemblies of the shuttle meet stringent quality and safety standards. You will inspect every component and system, identify and rectify any defects, and maintain thorough documentation.
Responsibilities
Perform detailed inspections throughout the assembly process.
Document inspection findings clearly and follow up on corrective actions.
Work with teams to resolve any problems identified during inspections.
Stay updated on quality management systems and procedures.
Ensure that all safety protocols are followed during operations.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in the development of inspection protocols.
Provide feedback to management on quality control processes.
Help maintain calibration for inspection tools and equipment.
Engage in ongoing training to keep skills and knowledge current.
Requirements
Education
Associate's degree or equivalent in a related field
Experience
5+ years of experience in quality control within aerospace
