We are on the lookout for a skilled Mining Engineer to join our operations in Johannesburg. This role involves designing and overseeing mining operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and optimizing processes for efficiency. Responsibilities

• Manage mine projects from feasibility studies through to execution and closure.
• Develop relationships with stakeholders including regulatory agencies and local communities.
• Assure continuous training and development of mining personnel on best practices.
• Research and implement new mining technologies to enhance productivity.
• Ensure all operations comply with safety standards and corporate policies.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline
• Relevant postgraduate qualification preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in mining engineering roles, preferably in operational environments
