Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to provide exceptional patient care at our Cape Town facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in primary care, a strong clinical background, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Lead patient care rounds to discuss individual treatment plans.
• Implement health promotion initiatives in partnership with community organizations.
• Facilitate referrals to specialists when necessary.
• Participate in research to advance nursing practices.
• Provide telehealth consultations for patients requiring follow-up care.
• Assist with the management of clinic operations as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Master's degree in Nursing or related field is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role

• Advanced clinical skills

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

• Leadership experience: Experience in mentoring junior staff or leading healthcare teams.
