Job Description

As a Roll Forming Machine Operator, you will set up, operate, and maintain roll forming machines to ensure the production of high-quality metal products. You will collaborate with a skilled team to meet production targets and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure roll forming machines based on specification requirements.
• Operately machinery safely and effectively to produce components efficiently.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintain machinery to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve processes and product designs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Document production processes and report on machine performance.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent qualification
• Certificate in mechanical engineering or a related field

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in the metal fabrication industry

Technical Skills

• Experience with roll forming machines
• Ability to program machinery

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic
