Job Description

As a Chemical Engineer at Leading Chemical Solutions Inc., you will be responsible for designing and optimizing chemical processes. You will work closely with R&D and manufacturing teams to ensure product excellence and regulatory compliance, contributing significantly to our mission.

Responsibilities

• Design and simulate chemical processes using relevant software tools.
• Participate in engineering reviews and provide input on technical designs.
• Work on cross-disciplinary teams to align chemical engineering solutions with business objectives.
• Conduct cost analysis and budgeting for projects.
• Maintain proper documentation for compliance audits.
• Investigate and implement sustainable practices within processes.
• liaise with regulatory bodies for compliance.
• Execute scale-up processes from lab to industrial-scale production.
• Develop safety procedures to minimize risks in chemical manufacturing.
• Establish key performance indicators for process evaluation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a chemical engineering role

• Process Simulation Software
• Analytical Chemistry

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication

Certifications

• Registered Professional Engineer (PrEng)
• Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with laboratory analytical techniques: Hands-on experience with techniques such as HPLC, GC-MS, etc.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations: Familiarity with local and international environmental regulations applicable to chemical engineering.
