Job Description

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will possess a knack for transforming complex technical concepts into user-friendly documentation. You'll be responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving various types of documents, including manuals, user guides, and online help systems.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, edit, and format technical documents.
  • Create and maintain a documentation database.
  • Investigate and research new documentation tools and techniques.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare documentation for publication and distribution.
  • Manage updates to documents and ensure version control.
  • Support training sessions by developing supplementary materials.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices for documentation.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Experience
  • 3+ years of technical writing experience in software
