Responsibilities

• Underwrite insurance policies based on company guidelines and risk assessments.
• Evaluate loss experiences and modify coverage terms accordingly.
• Participate in training sessions for new underwriting software and systems.
• Monitor and analyze portfolio performance to inform future underwriting decisions.
• Assist in the development of underwriting standards and procedures.
• Engage in client meetings to discuss coverage options and risk management strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Further qualifications in insurance or risk management are preferred.

Experience

• 5+ years of underwriter experience in the insurance industry.
