IT Support Technician

Job Description

Join our lively tech team as an IT Support Technician, where you'll help maintain our IT systems and provide top-notch support to our users. You'll need a solid understanding of IT helpdesk practices and the ability to address issues effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Act as a point of contact for IT support requests from employees.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and connectivity.
• Support the deployment of new technologies within the company.
• Work with vendors to resolve equipment malfunctions.
• Assist in maintaining an inventory of IT assets and equipment.
• Assist in the preparation of IT reports and documentation.
• Foster a positive IT support experience for all users.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in IT is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Active Directory
• Technical Documentation

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Teamwork

Certifications

• CompTIA Network+
• ITIL Foundation Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with virtualization technologies: Knowledge of VMWare or Hyper-V is advantageous.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure: Experience with cloud services is a plus.
