We are currently seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and assessing structures, ensuring they meet safety and sustainability standards. Your expertise will contribute to various exciting projects, from residential buildings to commercial properties.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate structural engineering efforts across multiple projects.
• Develop and enforce quality assurance and quality control procedures.
• Research and implement sustainable design practices.
• Document project progress and communicate with stakeholders throughout design and construction phases.
• Identify potential project issues and develop timely solutions.
• Participate in continuing education and training sessions.
• Contribute to the preparation of bids and proposals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of proven experience in structural projects

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis
• Geotechnical Engineering

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
