Nursing Supervisor

Job Description

As a Nursing Supervisor at Healthcare Solutions Group, you will oversee nursing staff and ensure high standards of patient care in our Cape Town facility. This role requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to improving healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing team meetings to discuss patient care.
• Monitor compliance with health regulations and safety protocols.
• Assist in the recruitment and training of new nursing staff.
• Support staff in conflict resolution and performance issues.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
• Review and update nursing procedures and protocols.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers for patient treatment plans.
• Ensure a safe healthcare environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Certification in Nursing Leadership or Management is desirable

Experience

• 5+ years of nursing experience with a focus on team leadership

Certifications

• Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Experience in utilizing EMR systems for patient documentation.
